India Bike Week – the largest festival of bikes, bikers and music in India’s history. 26 Live Bands & DJ’s, 3 Concert Stages, 100+ amazing Bikes, 16 Cage Fighters, the Cigar & Whiskey Club & Howling Dog Bar, Biker Build Off, Flea Markets, 2 Race Tracks, Stunt Zones and the Vintage Bike Concours. 8,000 Bike & Festival fans will hit 7 acres of bikes, music and mayhem in Vagator beach on the 2nd & 3rd Feb 2013.

India Bike Week is all about the man & the machines. More importantly, it’s the heart and soul of real bikers – sipping chai and riding the highway – running the show.  This is the way of the Brotherhood. India Bike Week is the true Biker’s Festival. So what’s more.

MUSIC: India Bike Week is India’s first and largest festival for bikers where biking and music aficionados will converge all over the country. So you can ride to the beat and groove to the music of the festival. Here Indian dub lovers will be treated to an act by Gentlemen’s Dub Club, the nine-strong band that has ranked top 10 in UK Reggae iTunes charts for weeks with their EP Open Your Eyes. The super tight Leeds gang blend ska, dubstep, dub and roots, and have gained notoriety for being one the liveliest, most invigorating bands in the UK.
With a full live band including a crisp horn section beaming out classic reggae lines, seriously heavy bass and the funkiest rhythm section around, their live show is nothing short of spectacular.
Gentleman’s Dub Club have toured extensively, supporting a number of established artists such as Madness, Roots Manuva, The Streets, The Wailers and Finlay Quaye. The guys have been getting plenty of love from the festival circuit, having played numerous events including Latitude, Glastonbury, Bestival, V, Secret Garden Party, plus the biggest bass-music festival in the world — Outlook in Croatia.
Percussion and synth player Niall Lavelle says, “As much as we like playing the big festival stages, our roots are in the club. It’s hard to beat connection you get with the audience from some of these places. I can’t wait to get out there and test the new material at the festival, alongside some of the classics.”
Gentleman’s Dub Club sticksman Tommy Evans is also the drummer for the hugely acclaimed live dubstep band Submotion Orchestra. Bassist Toby Davies records as the hotly-tipped producer Planas.
The lads have been working hard on new material with an album planned for 2013, but in the meantime they are itching to get back out on the road with the first India Bike Week, which is being touted as the greatest congregation of bikers in India’s history. Other acts slated to perform at the three dedicated stages include Mumbai rockers Pentagram, The Other People, Lou Majaw (known as the Bob Dylan of Northeast India), Bombay Basement, DJ Anish Sood, multi-instrumentalist Dualist Inquiry, New Delhi-based electronic artiste Nucleya and indie rock band Indigo Children.
